For boat, cruise and kayak guides

The tipping app for boat and kayak tours.

Back on the dock, guests want to thank the skipper, crew or paddling guide. GuideGallery gives them one QR code to tip by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and a free gallery of the trip for every guest, whether or not they tip. It keeps working when the signal on the water doesn't.

How tipping works on a boat or kayak tour.

Harbour trips, river cruises and paddling tours are usually paid in advance, with a tip for the guide or crew at the end, commonly 10–20% of the tour cost. Wet hands and no pockets mean cash is the last thing guests have with them.

Take the photos from the boat; guests scan one code on the dock, save the photos free and say thanks from their phone.

What if there's no signal on the water?

The QR code still works. Photos upload when you're back in signal, and guests see them as they arrive.

Can the tip be shared with the crew?

Tips go to the guide's own payment account. A crew can set up one account for the boat and share tips as it usually would.
